Community groups, fundraising and hard work has provided Kalbarri with a great skate park for our youth and a fabulous new Sport and Recreation Building for football, cricket, softball etc. The netball courts are located next to the tennis courts; golf and bowling clubs were recently resurfaced. Kalbarri golf course is an 18 hole course and is the greenest green north of Perth, which is maintained by re-cycled water. A very active golf group enjoys this picturesque course and if Bingo is your call, then its eyes down at 7.00pm. The PCYC Hall has a variety of activities from play group, roller skating, riffle club and a new BMX track.

      If you are the more adventurous type, there are hiking tacks throughout the National Park, canoeing the Murchison River or abseiling the Gorges. The inland Gorges to the North of Kalbarri are a spectacular sight of dramatic sandstone gorges formed over millions of years. The doctor's surgery is adjacent to the Medical Centre and is opposite the Physiotherapy Centre offering remedial care, Pilates, yoga and massage therapy. There are several health and beauty services available offering a wide variety of beauty, holistic and natural health therapies as well as 2 hairdressing salons. If your family pet needs care, the Chapman Animal Hospital operates every second Wednesday.

      Emergency services to Kalbarri are more than sufficiently catered for and include St John Ambulance, Fir Brigade, SES, VMR and the Police. With the exception of the Police, most services are provided by volunteers as is the case in most regional communities.
