Kalbarri golf course is an 18 hole course and is the greenest green north of Perth, which is maintained by re-cycled water. A very active golf group enjoys this picturesque course and if Bingo is your call, then its eyes down at 7.00pm. The PCYC Hall has a variety of activities from play group, roller skating, riffle club and a new BMX track.
If you are the more adventurous type, there are hiking tacks throughout the National Park, canoeing the Murchison River or abseiling the Gorges. The inland Gorges to the North of Kalbarri are a spectacular sight of dramatic sandstone gorges formed over millions of years. Carpets of colour can be seen during the wildflower season.a photographer's dream. Cycle and walking tracks extend along the riverfront all the way along the coast to the Coastal Gorges.
Kalbarri is blessed with a unique marine environment and it won't take too long to see this for yourselfclean, safe beaches side by side with penultimate surfing breaks, towering sandstone cliffs bordering coastal reef fringes and thanks to warm offshore current, Kalbarri exhibits both tropical and subtropical species of marine life in abundance.

Emergency services to Kalbarri are more than sufficiently catered for and include St John Ambulance, Fir Brigade, SES, VMR and the Police. With the exception of the Police, most services are provided by volunteers as is the case in most regional communities. Art and Craft enthusiasts meet at the Art Shed' and produce some very creative pieces of work and a free library service is available, if you prefer a quiet read.
In years gone by, Kalbarri was predominantly a small fishing community. Today it is more prominently viewed as a vibrant tourist destination. Tourism is catered for with a diverse range of services, including Rainbow Jungle Bird Park referred to as one of Australia's most beautiful parrot habitat.
